The S+S Team
DAVID LEMIRE MW - Sales and Marketing
David LeMire MW is a wine business professional with experience in retail, distribution, and brand management. A two year stint in London in the mid 90s gave him a 'eurocentric' palate, which he further developed in Australia in his roles with Negociants Australia, a leading importer of fine wine to Australia. From 2000 – 2007 he was Imports Manager with Negociants Australia, overseeing a portfolio that included many of the great names of Burgundy. He has run his own consulting business, has a share of a small wine production business, writes regular columns for Australia's Wine Business Magazine, is an irregular wine show judge, and is co-convenor of the Australasian Institute of Masters of Wine Educational Seminar. In 2010 he joined the team at Shaw + Smith, as Global Sales and Marketing Manager.
DAN COWARD - Trade Sales and Education

In 2012 he passed the introductory Court of Master Sommeliers exams and became an approved WSET wine educator. He moved to Adelaide from Sydney in January 2014, and got his hands dirty as a vintage cellar hand at Shaw+Smith, before joining the Sales and Marketing team full time in June 2014.
Dan is also involved in social media and writing activities, writing the monthly ‘Happy Hour’ drinks pages in the SBS magazine, Feast, for the past three years. He is an Adelaide University graduate, completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Viticulture.
Before joining Shaw + Smith in 2015, he worked for Adelaide Hills winery Nepenthe Wines and then Australian Vintage Ltd when they merged in 2007.
