2017 Shiraz Masterclass - Brisbane
Please join us for an educational Shiraz workshop, bringing together some classic examples of cool climate Shiraz from the northern Rhône with those from leading Australian producers, including but not limited to:
Cote Rotie from Ogier
Crozes Hermitage from Vincent Paris
Shiraz from Great Western, the Yarra Valley, and Canberra District from Bests, Serrat, and Clonakilla.
And Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills, and from our Balhannah Vineyard, from Shaw + Smith.
Given the evolution in understanding of cool-climate Shiraz production in Australia, this workshop is an opportunity to compare different cool-climate examples, to explore the issues specific to growing and making Shiraz in these climates, and to assess the development of style and quality.
This structured session will be of real value to those studying wine courses, such as WSET, MS, MW or others, as well as being informative and fun for those with a key general interest in learning more about wine.
Hosted by David LeMire MW and Dan Coward.
