To celebrate Winter Reds Festival Andre Ursini's Orso will be taking over Tasting Room for one weekend only.

Each $65 ticket includes Orso's famous take on lasagne and a Shaw + Smith Aged Release Wine Flight, featuring current and aged release Pinot Noir and Shiraz.

Sessions booked at 11.00am, 1.00pm or 3.00pm. Dietaries can be accommodated with prior notice.

We invite you to join David LeMire, Shaw + Smith CEO and Master of Wine, for a deep dive, educational tasting into our prized Single Vineyard wines from the Adelaide Hills.

The seated tasting will be hosted in a private room at Hotel Centennial in Woollahra, exploring the nuances of site, season and winemaking through a selection of current and museum wines from our Lenswood and Balhannah vineyards.

Over the course of the tasting, guests will gain deeper insight into the stories behind the wines, while experiencing firsthand how these wines evolve and age over time.

To celebrate the release of the new vintage MMAD Vineyard wines – the MMAD Men (Shaw + Smith's Martin Shaw, Michael Hill-Smith AM MW, Adam Wadewitz and David LeMire MW) will host a special dinner at the Shaw + Smith Tasting Room on Friday August 7 with Duncan Welgemoed from Africola.

This is the first time that M, M, A and D have hosted a public event together for the MMAD Vineyard wines. Following snacks and Rosé on arrival, you will enjoy a three course dinner from celebrated restaurant Africola paired alongside brackets of Chenin Blanc, Grenache and Shiraz.
