Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front - May 2022
For structure, for shape and for length this wine cannot be faulted. It feels silken until the sheets of fine-grained tannin shoot through, and then it feels like a class act, full stop. Woodsy spice, florals, black cherry, dark chocolate and plum, with a subtle, cool, alpine herb note. It feels quality from start to finish and while it’s not overly intense it gives the clear impression that it will age like an absolute treat. 94 Points.
